Privacy policy

Last updated: September 30, 2026

This policy explains what information Tank Math Lab (“we”, “us”), operated by Tank Math Lab, collects when you visit tankmathlab.com and how it is used. Contact: [email protected].

Information we collect

  • Server logs. Our hosting provider automatically records technical data such as IP address, browser type, pages requested and time of request, for security and to keep the site running. Logs are retained for a limited period set by the host.
  • Calculator inputs. Calculators run entirely in your browser. The values you enter are not sent to us; the stocking planner stores them only in the page address so you can share a link.
  • Email. If you email us, we receive your address and message and use them only to reply.

Cookies

Tank Math Lab does not currently set advertising or analytics cookies. If we add privacy-respecting analytics or advertising, this section will be updated before they go live, and where the law requires it we will ask for your consent first.

Advertising (if enabled in the future)

If we display ads through Google AdSense or similar services, the following will apply:

  • Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user’s prior visits to this website or other websites.
  • Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to users based on their visit to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
  • You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google’s Ads Settings. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors’ use of cookies for personalized advertising at aboutads.info or, in Europe, youronlinechoices.eu.
  • Learn how Google uses information from sites that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
  • Visitors in the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland will be shown a Google-certified consent management platform before any advertising cookies are set.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR, UK GDPR or California’s CCPA/CPRA), you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal data we hold about you, and to object to certain processing. We do not sell personal information. To make a request, email [email protected].

Children

Tank Math Lab is a general-audience site and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Guides link to external sources. Those sites have their own privacy practices, which we do not control.
